I graduated from Boston University as a sociology major. After marrying and raising three children, I returned to school, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Counseling. In 1977 I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University.
I initially worked on the in-patient unit at Long Island Jewish/Hillside Medical Center. I then worked for four years at the North Shore Guidance Center, providing psychological counseling for parents and children.
In 1989 I started my own individual practice, where I see adults and couples for therapy. Photography, reading and gardening occupy much of my free time.
